1Studied Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She worked on her Bachelor’s dissertation at the Ecology Institute and presented it at the 13th National Congress of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Plants and 6th Symposium USA-Mexico. Afterwards, she studied a taught Master’s program on Criminialistics at the National Institute of Criminal Law (INACIPE). She’s collaborated actively as a faculty member at the School of Chemistry in creating and implementing new experimental protocols for teaching Toxicology. She’s one of the authors of the official Toxicology Laboratory Manual “Manual de guiones experimentales para la enseñanza y aprendizaje del laboratorio de Toxicología”, wrote the content on Forensic Toxicology for the Toxicology course at the School of Chemistry, and has been a speaker at several toxicology workshops. She is a co-author on the chapter on “Fish and shellfish” of the book “Food Toxicology” published by McGraw-Hill Interamericana.
As a teacher, she’s taught different courses on basic sciences in middle and high school, and she’s created content for educational apps, course plans and standardized exam questions for the Ministry of Education. On the other hand, she’s worked as a freelance designer of digital Art catalogs of national Art shows.
Currently, she’s an Academic researcher working with the Toxicology group in the field of Forensic Sciences of the School of Medicine at the National University, as well as a Toxicology teacher at the Forensic Science Undergraduate program. She’s a certified trainer for expert witnesses in the new Accusatory Justice System in Mexico.
